Jean Rogerson Honours Scholarships in Arts

COURSEWORK

Miss Jean Ethel Rogerson MBE, BSc, ARACI, Warden of Convocation for two periods totalling eight years and a member of the University Senate for 30 years, died on 25 December 1993. In her Will Miss Rogerson left 30 per cent of the residue of her estate to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide postgraduate fellowships and undergraduate scholarships. No means test is to be applied. Eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship and do not need to submit an application.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship and do not need to submit a separate application.

(a) have applied for a place in an honours course offered by the
(i) School of Humanities
(ii) School of Social Sciences or
(iii) Conservatorium of Music and
(b) be enrolled or enrolling in their first semester of honours.

Benefits

To assist and encourage eligible students to undertake honours in a discipline offered by the School of Humanities, School of Social Sciences and the UWA Conservatorium of Music.
