The important stuff

Set yourself up so you’re ready for the semester ahead.

Your compulsory online learning modules

All commencing students are automatically enrolled in the following compulsory units at the start of semester as part of your academic orientation. These are not-for-credit units and do not count towards your semester study load; however, they must be completed within your first semester to record a pass (and avoid a fail) on your academic record.

Academic Conduct Essentials

(AACE1000 or AACE4000)

Learn about ethical scholarship and the expectations of correct academic conduct that UWA has of its students.

Communication and Research Skills

(CARS1000 or CARS4000)

Develop communication and research skills in an academic context.

Indigenous Study Essentials

(INDG1000)

Build an awareness of Indigenous peoples and orient yourself within the local Noongar space in which the Crawley campus is situated.

There’s much more to uni than just study…

Now that you’ve set yourself up with Pheme and your Campus Card, it’s time to explore everything else UWA has to offer.
