Your responsibilities 

UWA’s compulsory modules support your academic success by building research and communication skills, setting expectations for integrity and AI use, and introducing Indigenous knowledge and perspectives.
Academic Conduct Essentials (ACE).

• This module covers the basics of ethical scholarship and outlines UWA’s expectations for correct academic conduct including the use of AI. 

Communication and Research Skills (CARS) 

• This unit helps you develop the fundamental communication and research skills you'll need to succeed in your studies. 

Indigenous Studies Essentials (ISE) 

• This module introduces Indigenous Australian history, culture, and perspectives, which are a foundational part of the UWA learning experience. 

Respectful Relationships 

• This module covers the principles of respect, consent, and fostering a safe and positive university community. It is not compulsory but highly recommended for all students to complete.
