Convocation
All graduates of The University of Western Australia are permanent members of the Convocation of UWA Graduates. Through Convocation, graduates have a life-long relationship with the University of Western Australia.
Convocation is defined in the University of Western Australia Act (1911) as one the four constituent bodies of the University, along with staff, the students and the Senate. In this respect, Convocation makes UWA special and unique.
In addition to UWA graduates, Convocation encompasses all the senior members of the University community who are entitled to form the electorate for the university.

Events and meetings
The General Meetings of the University are a chance for your voice to be heard, and for your questions to be answered.

Convocation’s Creator-in-Residence fundraising project
A recent refurbishment of the Reid Library features a new ‘Reading Wall,’ which will exhibit a curated selection of treasures from the Library’s Special Collections.
Convocation invites you to join their collective giving appeal to fund a Creator-in-Residence program, to bring the Reading Wall to life for new audiences by curating dynamic displays inspired by the Library’s Special Collections.
Donations of $1000 and over will be recognised by displaying the names of donors on shelves of the Convocation Reading Wall in the Reid Library. There are a limited number of shelves (100), so this is a very special opportunity for Convocation members!
