General Meetings of Convocation are the general meetings of The University of Western Australia. Two general meetings are held each year.

• Autumn General Meetings provide the opportunity for UWA graduates to hear the latest information on current issues in tertiary education from expert speakers.
• Spring General Meetings enable the Vice-Chancellor, the Warden of Convocation and the Guild President to provide an update for you on the operations of your University.

Spring General Meeting 2025

The 2025 Spring General Meeting was held on Thursday, 18 September 2025 at the Banquet Hall, The University Club, UWA Crawley Campus. As well as hearing from the Warden and Guild President, UWA's Chief Marketing Officer presented on UWA brand insights and market perceptions, and the Vice-Chancellor explored the future of UWA in a changing environment.

Autumn General Meeting 2025

The 2025 Autumn General Meeting was held on Thursday, 20 March 2025 at the Banquet Hall, The University Club, UWA Crawley Campus. It was live-streamed and the video can be viewed online here.
