General Meetings of Convocation are the general meetings of The University of Western Australia. Two general meetings are held each year.

• Autumn General Meetings provide the opportunity for UWA graduates to hear the latest information on current issues in tertiary education from expert speakers.
• Spring General Meetings enable the Vice-Chancellor, the Warden of Convocation and the Guild President to provide an update for you on the operations of your University.

Autumn General Meeting 2026

The 2026 Autumn General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 26 March 2026 at the Banquet Hall, The University Club, UWA Crawley Campus.

Join us for the general meeting and a panel discussion on ‘Innovating for a Resilient Future: UWA Leadership in Climate, Health and Renewable Energy’.
