The Urban Greening micro-credential includes a two-day intensive workshop, complemented by a series of lectures and online modules. Participants will earn two University credit points and professional development in their field.

  • Clinical Skills for Pharmacists Enhanced Access Program [PHCYM506]

    This micro-credential is the capstone unit for pharmacists wanting to participate in the Enhanced Access Community Pharmacy Pilot program. Prior to undertaking this micro-credential, pharmacists will have already completed the PHCYM504 Advanced Clinical Skills to learn how to use, interpret and apply both laboratory tests and patient reported measures and they will have completed PHCYM505 Prescribing Skills for Pharmacists to learn the prescribing skills. This unit provides pharmacists with the opportunity to demonstrate that the advanced clinical and prescribing skills that they have developed in PHYCM504 and PHCYM505 has prepared them to administer the clinical protocols endorsed by the Department of Health for the pilot programs. This micro-credential allows pharmacists to demonstrate the required knowledge and application of the skills required to provide person-centred care for the acute and chronic conditions included in the Enhanced Access Community Pharmacy Pilot. Pharmacists undertaking this micro-credential will demonstrate the clinical competencies in information gathering, clinical decision-making and documentation required to participate in the program to prescribe medicines judiciously, appropriately, safely and effectively..

  • Introduction to Classical Test and Rasch Measurement Theories [IMEDM401]

    The micro-credential begins with some traditional test theory because it is still relevant and also because of the history of the development in formal testing. Studying both theories enables students to better appreciate each theory and, in particular, how Rasch measurement incorporates, elaborates and better achieves the goals of traditional test theory.

  • Advanced Course in Rasch Measurement Theory [IMEDM402]

    This micro-credential introduces students to advanced principles of Rasch measurement theory in the social sciences. It is a follow-up to Introduction to Classical and Rasch Measurement Theories. Analyses of real and simulated data sets using new features available in RUMM2030 and one assignment where participants have the option of analysing their own data.
