These highly specialised micro-credential courses are designed for registered optometrists wishing to expand their knowledge in specific areas. You may wish to undertake one or more of these micro-credentials.

Anterior and Dry Eye Disease: Part 1 & Part 2 OPTMM510 & OPTMM511
These two micro-credentials are designed to provide eye care practitioners with advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to
diagnose and manage anterior eye diseases, including dry eyes. By the end of these courses, you will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and insights required to diagnose and manage patients with anterior eye diseases. Additionally, you will learn how to stay updated with the ongoing developments in the field, ensuring lifelong learning.

Evidence-Based Paediatric Eye Care: Part 1 & Part 2 OPTMM512 & OPTMM513
These two micro-credentials equip eye care practitioners with the advanced knowledge and practical skills necessary to diagnose and manage common childhood vision disorders. Covering comprehensive vision examinations, refractive error correction, strabismus, amblyopia, binocular vision disorders and paediatric eye diseases. Advanced Medical Retina: Part 1 & Part 2 OPTMM516 & OPTMM517
This pair of micro-credentials is designed to provide eye care practitioners with advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to
diagnose and manage retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
The courses will review the state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging tools which can be incorporated into clinical practice.
Participants will gain the knowledge to interpret the images to enhance their capacity and confidence in diagnosis and
managing retinal diseases.
