John Harriott has donated funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide a scholarship in honour of Professor Mary Lockett, to establish a fund to provide a scholarship to encourage and assist a high-achieving student, preferably from a regional or remote area of Australia, to pursue a Doctor of Medicine at the University. Professor Lockett was the founding Professor of Pharmacology at the University.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) be a domestic student;
(b) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol, in the applicant’s first 24 points of the Doctor of Medicine at the University.
