Early Offers
If you’re in Year 12, apply for entry early via TISC by the relevant deadline before you even sit your exams.
Experience-based entry
Use your unique combination of study and life experience to apply. TAFE qualifications, ATAR subjects, work experience, volunteering and sporting achievements all count towards entry.
UWA Catalyst – STEM Pathway Program
This is a STEM‑focused pathway for students who want to make their mark in science and technology. Bringing together chemistry, mathematics and multidisciplinary study, the program builds the academic foundations and analytical capability needed for the Bachelor of Science.
UWA Thrive – Health and Nursing Pathway Program
For the next generation of healthcare professionals and aspiring nurses, this pathway builds the skills, confidence and academic foundations you need to succeed in health and nursing study, preparing you for a career that makes a real impact in your community.
UWA Headway – University Pathway Program
This pathway is for inquisitive, adaptable and creative students ready to take the next step into university study. You’ll gain the confidence and capability to make real headway in your field and turn passion into purpose.
Aboriginal Orientation Course
This free 14-week course provides entry to most/all bachelor’s degrees for indigenous students. Once you’ve scored 60% in four units, you’ll be ready to apply for your first degree.
Indigenous Provisional Entry Scheme
If you're an Indigenous student with an ATAR of 70 or above, or if you didn’t complete WACE but have a strong educational background or relevant work experience, this pathway could be a great way to begin your journey to university.
Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)
If you haven’t met the entry requirements for your chosen degree, consider taking the STAT and using your results to apply for entry.
Broadway UWA
If you completed Year 12 at a Broadway UWA school, you’ll automatically receive an ATAR adjustment to support your university entry.
Fairway UWA
This support program is here to help you get into university if you're in Year 11 at a Broadway UWA school, or if you're facing financial hardship or educational challenges due to your location or other circumstances.
First in Family
If you’ll be the first in your family to graduate from university, this entry pathway could be a great opportunity to help you get started.
UWay
If you've faced challenges that affected your academic performance, UWay could be your pathway to an undergraduate degree.
Diploma Entry Pathway
If you’ve completed a Diploma (AQF Level 5) or higher, this pathway could be your next step into university.
