Automated Assessment at UWA
Now getting your offer is even faster
For students of certain nationalities and academic backgrounds, UWA Apply uses automated assessment, a business logic tool that automatically assesses, and issues offers to students based on answers in their application. Documents submitted in these applications will only be assessed when a student or their nominated representative chooses to accept their offer.
As a UWA representative, you can select the option on submission to opt-out of automated assessment and ensure a UWA Admissions Assessment Officer assesses the submitted application against the course entry requirements.
On your agent dashboard, you can determine if an application has been subject to automated assessment by the following document status:
Please note that as of May 2020, automated assessment only applies to 6% of applications submitted to UWA.
