Bachelor of Social Work Regional Information Sessions
Ready to make a difference with a rewarding career in social work? Join our regional Bachelor of Social Work Info Sessions in Broome, Albany, or Geraldton.
With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, these community-oriented sessions will be presented by Associate Professor Stephan Lund (Head of the Division for Social Work and Social Policy), who will delve into the regional hub learning approach, flexible hybrid learning model, and contemporary approach to industry placements.

If you’re living in the Great Southern, or even looking for a sea change experience, why not explore the courses on offer at our UWA Albany campus? Students can study a select range of majors in
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Biomedical Science (first year only).
Students can also start studying some of our specialised bachelor’s degrees in Albany before transferring to UWA in Perth. We also offer UWA Smart Start – a university preparation course - boost your confidence and equip yourself with the skills to succeed in your university degree. Financial support and scholarships
We know moving away from home to study can be a big step and as a regional student you’ll have extra costs to think about. If the cost of study has you worried, we can help by giving you info about the financial support you could be entitled to and how you can plan for the costs associated with Uni.
Remember to also check out support offered by external organisations and the Commonwealth Government.
If you are studying at UWA Albany campus, we also have accommodation options for you. Advance Housing manages two facilities in walking distance to the Albany campus, as well as shops, cafes, the library and other town facilities.
If you’re feeling nervous moving to a new place, there’s plenty of opportunities to get involved in campus life, meet new people and make sure you have the support you need to help you succeed.
