Join the Inclusive Sport Champion program

UWA Sport are searching for passionate individuals to join the Inclusive Sport Champions program. The Inclusive Sports Champions are a network of volunteers who provide support to inclusive initiatives at UWA, share information, advocate and assist in delivering events throughout the year. UWA Sport aim addressing awareness and participation in sport for underrepresented groups within the UWA community.

UWA Sport look to engage the multifaceted UWA community in inclusive conversations, make space for and ensure part representation of, underrepresented communities.

Meet your Inclusive Sport Champions

Ian Brady, Inclusion Sport Champion, is a male elite netballer and coach, is passionate about social equity in sport and mental health in sport.
The Inclusive Sport Champion role has allowed me to give back to the sporting community and university as well as give me the opportunity to create meaningful impact and be visible representation for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Taneesha Stallbaum, UWA Outdoor Club member, is passionate about building community in sports and clubs and enjoys taking part in hiking, rock climbing and kayaking.
As an Inclusive Sport Champion, I have been able to connect with a whole network of supportive, likeminded and passionate individuals.
