The UWA School of Agriculture and Environment is located in one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots. Surrounded by a wealth of agricultural, natural and mining resources, our location allows us to produce innovative research with worldwide application.
Our teaching and research benefit from a network of national and international collaborators, and our strong industry and government links are producing change in agricultural and environmental management, and regional development.
We have a strong track record in PhD supervision and external research grant success. The Australian Research Council rated Agricultural Science at UWA as 'above world standards' and Environmental Science at UWA as 'well above world standards' during the most recent Excellence in Research Australia assessment.

Combined Bachelor's Degrees
Pursue your passions and maximise your career options with our combined bachelor’s degrees. You’ll complete two degrees in normally just four years – one comprehensive (where you’ll choose a major from a wide range of options) and one specialised (where you’ll take a defined study plan).

The combined BE(Hons)/BSc allows you to pair your engineering degree with another passion, broadening your career options and giving you an edge in a rapidly changing workforce. With just two additional semesters, you can graduate as an accredited engineer with your Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) along with a Bachelor of Science and a major in Environmental Science.
Specialised Degrees
Prepare for your dream career with a specialised bachelor’s degree. You will take an extended major with a carefully designed study plan to give you in-depth knowledge of your chosen career or profession. You can complement this with a minor or electives from almost any study area.

Combined Bachelor's and Master's (CBM)
The Combined Bachelor's and Master's (CBM) is a four-year accelerated program for high-performing students. Over your first three years, you'll complete an extended major and a semester of more advanced study, followed by a final year of postgraduate study. On completion, you'll be awarded both a full bachelor's and a full master's degree in four years (2.5 + 1.5 years).
