Collin Wiyoto (he/him)
Project Officer (Academic Advancement & Diversity)
Collin Wiyoto is a part-time Project Officer supporting the Academic Advancement and Diversity team and working closely with the staff networks listed here. He has a background in language access and cultural inclusion services in healthcare, and is currently studying a Master of Business Psychology. He is an active member of UWA's LGBTIQA+ Advisory Group and Pride+Ally Network.
DEI matters deeply to me because of my own intersectional identity, as a neurodivergent member of the culturally and linguistically diverse and LGBTIQA+ communities. I know what it's like to be discriminated against, and I feel grateful to feel safe and included here at UWA. I want that same feeling for everyone, everywhere. This work matters because it helps build a safer, more inclusive community.
