Professor Jill Milroy is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) at The University of Western Australia and leads the Indigenous Portfolio, which is the central gateway into all areas of the University for Indigenous matters. The Indigenous Portfolio includes the Senior Indigenous Cultural Advisor, the School of Indigenous Studies, Indigenous Student Services, Berndt Museum, UWA Poche Centre and the Indigenous Workforce Strategy.

Jill is a Palyku woman from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. She has more than 30 years’ experience in Indigenous higher education and was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2011 for her service to Indigenous education.
