Wes Smith is the Chief Financial Officer at The University of Western Australia, responsible for the University’s financial management, performance and sustainability, supporting the delivery of its strategic priorities.

Wes brings extensive executive experience across complex organisations and diverse sectors, with expertise in financial leadership, commercial strategy, capital management and organisational transformation. He has led significant transformation programs, major capital investment planning, funding negotiations and initiatives to strengthen organisational performance and financial sustainability.
