This micro-credential will provide students with a background in psychology, speech pathology, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing, medicine and other relevant disciplines with an opportunity to receive group supervision on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) cases.
This micro-credential is suited to clinicians who have had prior FASD training, and have a current FASD caseload.
Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, you will receive:

Participants will be able to:
Demonstrate competency in FASD case formulation within a multidisciplinary team context
Demonstrate skills in developing appropriate recommendations for individuals that have undergone a FASD assessment
Demonstrate case presentation skills in a multidisciplinary team context
Students completing this micro-credential will receive online group peer supervision led and moderated by Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist A/Prof Carmela Pestell and Clinical Psychologist (Registrar) Dr Kirsten Panton. Through supervision, students will have an opportunity to discuss the complexities involved Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessment and diagnosis with other passionate health professionals, and according to current diagnostic guidelines.
