At UWA, our Vice-Chancellor recognises and welcomes exceptional students into a community driven to make an impact. The UWA Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship supports high-achieving students from around the world with 50% or 100% off UWA tuition fees, so you can focus on what matters most: your future.

These scholarships are highly competitive, with only a limited number offered each year. If you’re an international student from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam or an international WACE graduate and choose to study a selected degree at The University of Western Australia, you could be eligible to apply for this prestigious scholarship.

UWA Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship

China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be applying as an international student from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam
  • Be applying to study an eligible course at UWA (excluded courses outlined in terms and conditions)
  • Achieve a minimum ATAR equivalent of 98
  • Meet all other scholarship conditions outlined in the terms and conditions

UWA Vice-Chancellor’s International WACE Scholarship

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be applying as an international student  
  • Be applying to study an eligible undergraduate course at UWA (excluded courses outlined in terms and conditions)
  • Achieve a minimum ATAR equivalent of 98
  • Have completed your WACE curriculum at an approved offshore School Curriculum Standards Authority (SCSA) school in the year before applying
  • Meet all other scholarship conditions outlined in the terms and conditions
