COURSEWORK
Richard Shemesian has donated funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to establish a scholarship to assist and encourage a high achieving student, who is experiencing financial hardship and the first in their family to attend university, to commence a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology, Bachelor of Engineering, or any undergraduate degree with a direct pathway to Law.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) be a domestic student;
(b) experiencing financial hardship;
(c) be the first in their family to attend university;
(d) be a commencing student;
(e) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol, full-time unless the selection body is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances^ which preclude full-time enrolment in a—
(i) Bachelor of Business (BP009)
(ii) Bachelor of Commerce (BP002);
(iii) Bachelor of Science (BP004), with a major in Geology’
(iv) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BH011); or
(v) any undergraduate degree with a Direct Pathway to Juris Doctor
