Mrs Rose Levy, a former student of the then Department of French Studies, having donated the sum of $50,000 to establish a fund in memory of her late husband Rene with the aim of enabling students of French to make short visits to a French speaking country.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, a candidate must-
(a) be enrolled in the French honours course; and
(b) not be a native speaker of French.
