COURSEWORK

Ms Merle Smith has donated fund to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide a scholarship to encourage and assist high achieving students enrolled in a Master of Biotechnology or Master of Clinical Pathology to undertake a research project in the area of clinical biochemistry.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol—
(i) full-time enrolment;
(ii) in research project units intending to undertake a research project focusing on physiological or disease pathways that utilises a biochemical test using a biofluid or tissues from human or animal model to study physiological or disease pathways.
(iii) in the Master of Clinical Pathology (92510) by coursework and dissertation specialising in Clinical Biochemistry; or
(iv) in the Master of Biotechnology (71580)

Research Project Units includes: PATH5113; PATH5114; PATH5115; PATH5116 for Clinical Pathology and SCIE5571; SCIE5572; SCIE5573; SCIE5574 for the Master of Biotechnology
