The Indran Chelva Broadway Pathway Scholarship in Medicine provides assistance to a commencing student who has accepted an offer of assured entry into the course for the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) at The University of Western Australia ('the University') through the Broadway Pathway to MD. The scholarship is to support and assist a student experiencing financial hardship to successfully complete an undergraduate degree course and undertake the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for and take up a scholarship, an applicant must be—
(a) a domestic student;
(b) experiencing financial hardship;
(c) entering the University on the Broadway Pathway to MD; and
(d) enrolled or eligible to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree course at the University
To be eligible to receive the scholarship at the postgraduate level, a recipient must—
(a) have successfully completed two years of an undergraduate degree course on the Broadway Pathway to MD at the University;
(b) be accepted into the course for the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD); and
(c) be enrolled full-time in the MD at the University
Benefits
$7,500 per annum for two years of an undergraduate degree; and
$10,000 per annum for four years of the Doctor of Medicine.
