COURSEWORK
Perenti Limited, in consultation with the Cochrane family, has donated funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to establish a scholarship, in memory of the late Ian Cochrane, to encourage and assist a high-achieving student commence the Juris Doctor at the University. Ian Cochrane, a corporate lawyer and leader in the Perth business community for more than three decades, was associated with Perenti for more than 27 years and a former chairman of the company.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) demonstrate educational disadvantage; and
(b) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol—
(i) full-time unless the selection body is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment;
(ii) in the first semester of the Juris Doctor degree course.
