John Victor Delano has bequeathed a sum of money to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide udergraduate scholarships for gifted music students. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist and encourage gifted music students to undertake instrumental performance units in a priority area of the Conservatorium of Music's performance activities in any major offered by the Conservatorium of Music.

Eligibility
To take up the scholarship a student must—
• have received a mark of 8 or above for the 'Potential Scholarship Score' at audition;
• be enrolled in units applicable to any major offered by the Conservatorium of Music; and
• be intending to undertake instrumental performance units in a priority area of the Conservatorium of Music’s performance activities.
