The late Alice Cummins bequeathed funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide a scholarship to encourage and assist high-achieving commencing students who are experiencing financial hardship to accept an offer of a Direct Pathway into Medicine and pursue a Doctor of Medicine at the University.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) be a domestic student;
(b) be experiencing financial hardship;
(c) in the year prior to applying for the scholarship, have successfully completed the requirements for the Year 12 Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE); and
(d) have received an offer of a place at the University with a Direct Pathway to Medicine.
Please note, the number of scholarships available is subject to available funds.
Benefits
$5,000 per annum for 12 Semesters.
