If you’re a female student interested in learning more about studying data science and where a career in data science can take you, join us on campus for the Data Science at UWA session.

In the session you will learn about courses and pathways in data science, hear from current students about their experience studying data science at UWA, and take a tour of the UWA campus.

Following the session, you will have the opportunity to attend our annual Women in Data Science (WiDS) Perth 2021 event where you’ll hear from industry leaders, UWA graduates and student clubs making their place in data science.

Please note: COVID-19 procedures will be strictly adhered to as part of this event to ensure a safe environment. Registration is essential for all parties in attendance, including parents/guardians. Places are limited.


Event Schedule

4.15 - 4.30pm: Event registration 

4.30 - 5.00pm: Data Science at UWA panel session 

5.00 - 5.30pm: UWA campus tour 

5.30 – 6.30pm: Women in Data Science (WiDS) Perth 2021 event*  

6.30 – 7.30pm: Networking / meet and greet with data science students (light refreshments and catering provided)*

*Women in Data Science (WiDS) Perth is a separate, optional event you may attend. To track numbers in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions, registration is separate, however you will have the option to register for both events via the Data Science at UWA registration link
