Domestic Student Fees
Eligible Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students can use the HECS-HELP loan program to pay their tuition fees. For Full-Fee Paying (FFP) places, students are charged an annual course fee.

Dr Maria Ignatieva
Dr Maria Ignatieva is a landscape architect and urban ecologist who has lived and worked in Russia, the USA, New Zealand and Sweden.
She conducts research in urban ecology with particular emphasis on urban biodiversity and design, history of landscape architecture, and the restoration and conservation of historical gardens.
"I love the opportunity to implement my research findings into real design and to pass my experience and knowledge to the young generation of landscape architects."

Christina enjoys empowering students to contribute positively and powerfully to the Climate and Biodiversity Loss Emergency and make the world more biodiverse, livable and beautiful.

Filippo Tosolini
After extensive experience in the construction industry as an Engineering Surveyor, I felt that with my work, I was indirectly impacting the natural landscape. Captured by curiosity, using some old passions and previous experience and qualifications in agriculture, I was driven to select Landscape Architecture with an aim to reconnect the population to the landscape and natural habitats and to have a positive impact on the future.
UWA has an admirable study plan specialised in the Western Australian landscape and Indigenous culture. It is imperative to have a cultural knowledge, understanding and respect for the space in which you will design.
During my time at UWA I enjoyed meeting new people and being involved in group projects. The lecturers are always ready to assist and provide positive feedback.
I am planning to specialise in urban planning and how to adapt my designs to, and possibly reduce the influence of, climate change through the use of plants and landscape design.
I am an active committee member of wAILA fresh, an organisation open to all Landscape Architecture students and professionals. wAILA fresh provides the opportunity to meet like-minded professionals that may assist in building relationships and furthering future employment prospects. Furthermore, it provides opportunities to organise events within a community whose members have similar beliefs and values.
