Advanced Strength and Conditioning for Sport Performance

This micro-credential adopts a practical and theoretical approach to develop a comprehensive understanding of contemporary, industry-relevant strength and conditioning concepts.  These concepts encompass areas such as strength and power development, aerobic and anaerobic capacity training, and speed and agility enhancement.  Upon completion of the program, participants will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, conduct, and design strength and conditioning programs aimed at improving athletic performance.   

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be able to gain a Level 2 Associate Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation from the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).

Delivery
Content will be delivered through a blended teaching approach, combining online lecturers and face-to-face workshops.  Lecturers are presented by UWA academics and industry experts.  These lectures will be supported by two full-day immersive and hands-on workshops providing candidates with the invaluable opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into tangible real-world applications.
