What is UniMentor?

Our UniMentor Program connects new students with second year and above students who provide guidance, support, and advice on navigating university life.

The program runs through a dedicated mentoring app, making it easy to stay connected and access resources.

Matching with a UniMentor

Students who are new to UWA are encouraged to join the UniMentor Program where you will be matched with a mentor based on your course and level of study. UWA offers group mentoring where you will be placed in a group with up to ten other students and your mentor, so you have the chance to meet lots of new people.

UniMentors cannot provide academic support but can direct you to specialised programs through the Academic Skills Centre if you need assistance in this area.

Why should you join the UniMentor Program?

  • Meet new people who can relate to your experience – there are no silly questions!
  • Get help with settling into university life, like where to get the best coffee and the best study spots
  • Find out about UWA clubs, events, and activities to enjoy beyond your studies
  • Feel more confident heading into your next semester of study
