Global Engagement Month 2026

Join us from 3–25 September for a month of events and activities celebrating UWA's global connections across our university and community.

Connecting UWA to the World

Global Engagement Month is how UWA connects with the world. It's a university-wide program celebrating and strengthening our global connections across teaching, research, student experience and community engagement.

Building on the success of two years of Internationalisation Week, this year's program brings together Schools, Faculties, Colleges, professional divisions, student groups and community partners to showcase how UWA engages globally and strengthen collaboration across the University.

Across 3–25 September, students, staff, partners and the wider community can take part in events and activities that reflect UWA's global impact.

This Year's Theme: Think Globally

Think Globally is about the many ways UWA connects with the world — how we learn, work, live, belong, celebrate and innovate globally. Across Global Engagement Month, our program brings each of these six themes to life through events, conversations and celebrations happening right across the University.

Event Highlights

From cultural festivals to career fairs and sporting events, Global Engagement Month brings something for everyone across campus. Here's a taste of what's on — explore the full program for the complete calendar.

Cultural Celebrations

Student clubs, cultural societies and the wider UWA community come together to celebrate global traditions, from Matsuri's Japanese festival to Mid Autumn festival and the Guild's Spring Feast, with food, performance and celebration for everyone to enjoy.

Sport & Community
