Global Engagement Month is UWA's University-wide celebration of our global connections, partnerships and cultural diversity, running from 3–25 September 2026.

Event highlights
Mid Autumn Festival at St Thomas More College
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with an evening of culture, food and festivities!
The evening will feature Chinese calligraphy, a lion dance performance, mooncake and Chinese tea tasting, and lantern painting, with a gold coin donation welcome for the lantern painting activity.

GLO Info Session for Students
Thinking about going on exchange? Join us for an information session to learn everything you need to know about UWA’s semester exchange programs. We’ll cover application steps, eligibility, key deadlines, funding opportunities, and the exciting range of global destinations available to you. It’s the perfect first step to start planning your overseas study adventure!

GLO Exchange Café
GLO Café is a welcoming space for UWA students to connect, share experiences, and learn more about global opportunities. This session brings together students who are considering exchange, students nominated for Semester 1, 2027 exchange, and students who have recently returned from Semester 1, 2026 exchange. It’s a great opportunity to hear first-hand experiences, ask questions, exchange advice, and connect with peers as part of UWA’s global learning community.

Ready for a mini trip to Vietnam without leaving UWA? VSAUWA is bringing Passport to Vietnam to life - and everyone’s invited! Come and network with German-centred professionals!
We're hosting a panel and networking event with the West Australian German Business Association (WAGBA). Students from all horizons will have the chance to discover what it is like to work for/with German businesses and work in Germany.
