If you are applying for: 

• Language and Communication Essentials 
• English for Academic Purposes  
• IELTS Examination Preparation

You can submit your application with supporting documents directly to UWA CELT by email, or through an authorised education agent.

• 2026 UWA CELT Application  

If you have not already taken an approved English language examination, we will send you the UWA CELT online placement test. You must complete it on your own and within the allocated time. The results will help identify your current English level and ensure you are in the correct class when you arrive. Once you have completed the placement test, we will send you a letter of offer and acceptance documents. The offer letter will include an invoice for your course, and other applicable fees. To accept your offer: 

• Pay all fees as outlined in your offer letter 
• Return the signed acceptance documents to [email protected] 

If you are applying for the Bridging Course as a pathway into a UWA degree, submit your application through the UWA Apply portal either directly or via an authorised agent.  

You will receive an email from UWA Admissions notifying you of the outcome of your application. If your application is successful, you will receive a conditional letter of offer. Acceptance for your offer will be through UWA Apply. 

If you are applying for Language and Communication Essentials as a pathway to UWA College, your application should be submitted directly to UWA College.  

Your English application should be submitted directly to UWA CELT by email, or through a UWA CELT authorised education agent. You will need to submit a copy of your offer letter from TIWA or APSI when applying to UWA CELT.
