Homestay Accommodation
We understand some students may find arriving in a new country challenging. Homestay is a perfect option for students wishing to have support of an English-speaking family. Students are matched with a host family as best as possible based on shared interests and proximity to campus. Homestay families are located all throughout the Perth metropolitan area and may require students to catch public transport to campus.
There are various room and food options for students to choose from depending on their preference and budget.
UWA CELT has a long-standing relationship with Talkabout Tours as it’s preferred Homestay provider, and applications are made directly online through the Talkabout Tours website.
*While not mandatory, UWA CELT recommends students studying English with us stay in Homestay accommodation upon first arrival to Perth.
Perth city student accommodation
UWA has partnered with purpose-built student accommodation and co-living properties located in the City of Perth. This option provides students with a community living experience, fostering greater experience.

UWA Residential Colleges are located directly opposite UWA Crawley campus.

*Please note: Residential colleges operate on a semester / yearly basis making short term availability difficult. Students studying for short periods of time (less than 6 months) are unlikely to secure accommodation within a residential college therefore we strongly recommend other options are also explored.
Crawley Village
Catering to postgraduate students (priority to PhD students), including couples and families. A collective group of 250 houses, units and studio apartments owned, operated and managed by UWA. Students will join a waitlist and will be contacted when a property becomes available.
