Public transport
Public transport is a convenient and cost-effective way to get to and from UWA campuses. Use the Transperth JourneyPlanner to find the best route and up-to-date information.
Student discounts
UWA students may be eligible for discounted travel with a Tertiary SmartRider, available at the Guild Student Centre or the Transperth website.
Getting to UWA by bus
Buses to the Perth campus run frequently, from the city, Subiaco, Morley and along Stirling Highway. Services are managed by Transperth, and some are subsidised by UWA.
All listed bus services use stops on Stirling Highway at the northern end of the Perth campus. With the exception of the 97 (Subiaco shuttle), which stops at the northern end of Fairway and Princess Road, terminating on Hackett Drive.
Frequent bus routes to UWA:
Circle Route ( 998 and 999): weekday and weekends. Timetable 200 - Route 998, Route 999.
Route 24 (East Perth – Claremont Station): weekday and weekends. Timetable 44 - Route 24.
Route 96 (Leederville Station – UWA South): weekdays only. Timetable 41 - Route 96.
Route 97 (Subiaco Station – UWA South): weekdays only. Timetable 41 - Route 97.
Route 102 (Elizabeth Quay Bus Station – Cottesloe Station): weekday and weekends. Timetable 31 - Route 102.
Route 103 (East Perth – Fremantle Station): weekday and weekends. Timetable 32 - Route 103.
Route 107 (Elizabeth Quay Bus Station – Fremantle Station): weekdays only. Timetable 31 - Route 107.
Route 950 (Morley Bus Station – QEII Medical Centre, Perth City and UWA): weekday and weekends. Timetable 202 - Route 950.
Route 97 and 950 are proudly supported by UWA.
Other services
Purple CAT: free bus between UWA Business School and Elizabeth Quay Bus Station.

FREE UWA Shuttle Bus: runs from Claremont train station to Claremont campus, then Crawley campus during peak times of the year.
