2021 Season 1 Opening Night

Friday 26 February, 5pm-7pm

Please note: Due to Covid-19 safety regulations, registration is essential for this event and will be checked on arrival

We hope you can join us in celebrating the launch of our 2021 Season 1 program and the opening of three new exhibitions:

Olga Cironis: Dislocation
Olga Cironis works with familiar materials to make powerful sculptural forms that resonate with a sense of disenfranchised identity. Dislocation is a survey exhibition that amplifies recurring concerns about life, relationships, memory and empathy. Presented in association with Perth Festival.

Paper Cut
An exhibition featuring a rotating display of works on paper from UWA's Cruther Collection of Women's Art and a community residency program. The ‘cut’ of the title refers both to technique and to the incisive commentary.

Creatures: Ochred, Pokered, Carved and Twined
Creatures delves into the depths of the Berndt Museum of Anthropology’s object collection illuminating a diverse menagerie of animal representations from across Indigenous Australia. Presented by the Berndt Museum of Anthropology.
