Your Orientation is personalised to suit your individual needs as a student. It is essential to attend as it will help you in being more familiarised with the campus, give you the chance to meet with other students and staff. O-Week is held from 15-19 July 2024.

Connect with a UniMentor
As a new student, you can connect with a UniMentor to help you navigate life at UWA. UniMentors are experienced students who can provide advice and recommendations on uni life or catch up with you on campus. You will be able to connect with your Mentor on the Vygo app from early July via an invitation to your student email.

Getting Started Session: If you are in Australia, attend any one of our in-person "Getting Started Sessions" in June/July 2024.Register here

Pre-Departure Session: If you're an International student who has not yet arrived in Australia, join our online Pre-Departure sessions designed especially for international students. Register here

Join our UWA International Student Support team to receive tips and advice as a new UWA international student. We encourage you to attend one session prior to your arrival in WA.

Welcome ceremony; Friday 19 July

The Welcome Ceremony will be held for all commencing students on Friday 19 July at Winthrop Hall, Crawley campus. There will be a morning session from 10:00am to 11:00am.

The ceremony provides a formal welcome to the University by a dignitary and the UWA Guild President. Students also receive a Noongar Welcome to Country.

UWA Residential College specific sessions

If you are a new College Row resident then it is important you attend your College specific orientation activities. You will be emailed directly about these activities.

UWA College Row includes; St Catherine’s College, St George’s College, St Thomas More College, Trinity Residential College and University Hall.

Campus Tours
