The Salonnière’s Circle

with UWA Conservatorium of Music and Mirabilis Collective

Art song by women across the centuries.

Step into an intimate world of song, tracing women’s writing for the voice from early art song to contemporary works. Performed by UWA vocal students alongside musicians of Mirabilis Collective, this program celebrates the richness, depth, and evolution of women’s voices across the centuries.

 
Presented in partnership with Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, the concert sits alongside the Mother Island exhibition, featuring works by Olga Cironis, Susan Flavell and Louise Monte that explore themes of mothers, bodies, identity, history and place.

Explore LWAG’s exhibitions,  from 17 October – 5  December 2026.  The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11am-4pm. Entry is always free.
