Professional Development Workshop for Teachers - Jintulu

Tuesday 19 March, 1–3.30pm

This workshop offers teachers a chance to gain a greater understanding and confidence when talking to students about indigenous issues in art and culture.

Join curator, Lee Kinsella, for a guided, close reading of Alison Alder's important Intervention I-X print series.  This is an opportunity to understand how this work links with the broader themes of race, representation, and identity that are interwoven through the UWA's 2024 Perth Festival exhibition, Jintulu: People of the Sun.

Refreshments and a light lunch are provided before participants are taken on a tour of the whole exhibition by Lee. The floor will be open for discussion and a Q&A session within the exhibition.
