Curator's Talk and Tour: Sustaining the art of practice

Friday 8 July, 1pm-2pm

Curator of the Cruthers Collection of Women’s Art, Lee Kinsella recognises that works of art operate as objects embedded in shimmering webs of relations. Come and join the Curator as she discusses the exhibition Sustaining the art of practice, and hear some of the stories of friendship, comradery and community. Artists may be located as active members of communities of makers, in relation to Country, and connected to stories of makers from history. Words, images, fabric and paint are utilised to present tangible objects to the public, thanks to the artist and their many engagements with the world
