Art workshop: Portrait painting

Tuesday, 26 September, 1-4pm

Students 12-18 years of age are invited to join Erin Knight to develop their painting skills and create their own portrait artworks. Participants will be using acrylic paint and posca pen on A3 sized canvas, completing a ready-to-hang work of art to celebrate who they are right now.

Erin Knight graduated from Curtin University in the 1990s and has exhibited in over 20 group and as well as solo exhibitions in metropolitan and regional WA. She has been an art educator for tertiary and secondary students and has worked passionately in art education throughout her career. Primarily a painter, she works across different media and techniques, exploring ways in which to best respond to particular themes.

Materials will be supplied and the artworks may be taken home. Bring your own snacks.
