Join us for Art Up Late: an evening of art, music, and conversation at Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, in collaboration with Musica Viva.

Ahead of Nicolas Altsteadt and Thomas Dunford’s concert at Winthrop Hall, start the evening at LWAG with a complementary glass of wine, explore the exhibitions in a relaxed and festive atmosphere, and hear an insightful pre-concert talk by Dr Cecilia Sun from UWA’s Conservatorium of Music. 

Please note tickets for Art Up Late will not grant you entry to the concert.

Nicolas Altsteadt & Thomas Dunford Concert

Cellist, conductor and creative visionary Nicolas Altstaedt is the kind of artist who makes music you thought you knew, new. In 2026, he brings his always exciting, always beautiful insights to music of the seventeenth century, with the help of lutenist Thomas Dunford, the charismatic ringleader of baroque superband Ensemble Jupiter. When these two international superstars team up for a night of musical mischief, anything could happen.
