Make your workplaces more sustainable
The Green Workplaces Program empowers staff at UWA to create environmentally responsible office spaces through simple, practical actions. By participating, you and your team can reduce your environmental impact, save resources, and contribute to a culture of sustainability at UWA.
Through the program, offices nominate a Green Representative and commit to low-barrier, high-impact practices such as reducing waste, conserving energy, and responsible printing. Offices are supported with a toolkit, clear checklists, and access to campaigns like Paperless March. Achievements are recognised through a tiered system and celebrated at an annual sustainability event.
How it works
- Nominate a Green Representative for your office by filling out this form.
- Register your workplace with the Office of Sustainability on the above form.
- Complete a self-assessment using this Green Workplaces checklist.
- Implement actions and encourage your team to get involved.
- Submit progress and receive recognition for your efforts at the end of the annual program.
