FOLWAG presents Quick Draw Plein Air Event

Saturday, 9 October, 1pm – 5pm

The Friends of the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery (FOLWAG) & the Western Australian Society of Arts invite you to join them on the beautiful grounds of UWA for the Quick Draw Plein Air Event.

Visit the gallery and check out the exhibitions, Feeling Abstract? and Matter for your inspiration, release your creativity and have fun making art.

This event is open for everyone to join, from practising artists to novices. Prizes will be awarded for each category including runners up, novice and student.

Quick Draw will start at 1pm and finish at 3pm, followed by judging of the artworks by Carl Altmann on the front verandah. You are invited to list your artworks for sale as well as enjoy an afternoon tea.

BYO art materials (some will be provided)

The Friends are an integral part of the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery and provide support for its activities, ranging from the acquisition of new works to providing artistic and technical facilities. This support is achieved through memberships, donations and fundraising activities.
