Art Workshop with exhibiting artist Maxxi Minaxi May

Saturday 6 November 2.30 – 4pm

Maxxi Minaxi May is a multidisciplinary artist who primarily works with sculpture, mixed-media, printmaking and installation and will be conducting a free art workshop for those aged 13-17yrs.

Minaxi May looks at artworks on display in the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery and she will conduct an art-workshop where participants explore materials and ideas to create their own artwork inspired by what they have seen.

Minaxi May’s artwork Deconstructing Beauty (2003) is exhibited within Matter: Works from the Cruthers Collection of Women’s Art. Please note: in keeping with the University's guidelines, space is limited for this event and registration is required.
