A National Science Week Event: Ways of Seeing
Saturday 13-20 August, 12pm-4:30pm
Join us at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery to view how microscopy has expanded our ability to perceive the world within different contexts and knowledge systems. Art, science, indigenous and western ways of thinking and seeing the world are all explored through this display. Videos featuring spectacular images from the Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation and Analysis (UWA) and photographic artist, Martine Perret are presented alongside images submitted by amateur microscopists.
