Unigym

Running for 40 years, Unigym is a movement program for children who have difficulty learning and performing fundamental movement skills at an age appropriate level.

What is Unigym?

The program is designed for children who have motor learning difficulties, such as children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (Motor Dyspraxia), Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down’s Syndrome, and other developmental conditions.

Children in Unigym are coached by 3rd year undergraduate Sport Science, Exercise & Health students. These students receive training prior to their commencement in the program and are supervised by academic and program staff.

Details

Structure: 1-on-1 for 1.5 hours, including 30 minutes swimming lesson

Cost:  1.5 hour session ($300 for the 9-week program) 

Ages: 5 1/2 – 8 year olds

When: After school (4:30 – 6:00pm) with 2 x 9-week semesters per year. Start dates March & August
