WA University Sector Review

In February, the State Government announced an independent University Sector Review Panel to examine the structure of Western Australia's four public universities, to support and strengthen the higher education sector.

The Review offers an opportunity for our public universities to collaborate with the State Government, the broader WA community, and industry, to effectively address our shared needs.

Following initial targeted consultations, the University Sector Review Panel released a Discussion Paper on 1 May 2023, seeking input from stakeholders by 22 May 2023.

The University submitted a response to the University Sector Review Panel Discussion Paper this week.

We have responded through the lens of what is best for our State, in alignment with our founding mission to advance the prosperity and welfare of Western Australia through our teaching, research, scholarship and knowledge translation.
