So, you’ve applied for a UWA Early Offer and you’re patiently waiting, or perhaps you’re wondering what’s going to happen next? We’ll give you a rundown of what to expect.
Whether you’ve already received your offer, or you’re still refreshing your inbox waiting for that exciting notification, there are some simple things you can prepare for along the way to help you understand the process.
Here’s what you need to know about conditions, email notifications, and what to do if you’re waiting to hear back from us.
How do I make sure I meet the conditions of my Early Offer?
All Early Offers will be conditional, to ensure you’re on track you’ll need to:
- Complete Year 12 and achieve WACE
- Meet English Language Competency and any subject prerequisites depending on your course
And depending on the course you applied for, you’ll also need to meet one of the following requirements:
- Achieve a final ATAR (not score specific)
- Achieve the required ATAR score specific for your course
- Achieve the required ATAR score specific for your course or meet requirements via Experience-based entry, STAT or an approved enabling program
- Complete requirements through Experience-based entry, STAT or an approved enabling program
Think of it as a “conditional yes”, your place is secure as long as you meet those minimum requirements. Alternatively, for your specific course , you may be eligible to meet the course requirements through Experience-based entry, the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) or an approved enabling program.
💡 Pro tip: If you’re unsure about your specific conditions, make sure you read your offer letter carefully for a full explanation of your conditions. And if you’re still left with any questions or conditions you want to clarify, reach out to our friendly Future Students Team who are on hand to help.

Early Offers are released, but I haven’t received an email. What do I do?
Early Offers are out but you haven’t received an email yet, don’t worry! It doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve missed out. Early Offers are released in multiple rounds, which means you might be considered in the next round. You can check when the rounds happen on the TISC important dates page.
Here are a few things to check in the meantime:
- Have UWA as your first preference in TISC
- Have you paid your TISC application fee? Without this, your application won’t be processed
- Are your contact details correct? Double-check your TISC account to make sure you’ve provided the right email address
💡 Pro tip: Use your personal email address instead of your parent's email or your school email (as your school may close it once you graduate). That way, you won’t miss anything important, especially during school holidays!
Is there a set time for Early Offer releases?
One of the biggest questions we get is “What time can I expect my Early Offer?” The short answer is, there isn’t a specific time when offers are being sent. However, they are usually released later in the afternoon around 5pm on the relevant release dates. And if there are any major delays, we’ll let you know via SMS.
💡 Pro tip: The best approach is to keep an eye on your email and check in every so often, but don’t feel like you need to refresh your inbox every five minutes. If you haven’t received an offer yet, remember that you may still be considered in later rounds!
How do I accept my Early Offer?
When you're ready to accept, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to UWA's PHEME Activation website and activate your PHEME/Uni ID account using your UWA student number on your offer letter, and create a password (you'll need this for step 2!)
- Login to UWA Apply using the UWA student number on your offer and the password you have just created
- Accept your offer on the dashboard by 19 December 2025
While you’re waiting for your Early Offer, remember you’ve already taken a big step towards uni, and that’s something to be proud of! 🎉 Whether you’ve already received an Early Offer or still waiting for your email or the next offer round, there are always options and support available.
