While Mae completed the Master of Marketing, she chose to get career-ready by signing up for the UWA dentsu Placement Program. The dentsu Program is about establishing a series of work experiences in a media and communications network business, allowing undergraduate and postgraduate marketing students the opportunity to experience the theory and best practice that drives media, creative services and platform and technology pillars in a marketing services organisation.

During her internship at global media agency Carat, Mae quickly found her passion for digital media and this practical experience led to a role as a Client Associate in the Perth office, with a specific focus on SEO and SEM tactics and analytics.
