Making mental health support work better for regional communities
Join our inaugural seminar of the CSI UWA seminar series as we launch our new report ‘Going the distance: Making mental health support work better for regional communities’, which sheds a light on the drivers of mental distress in rural communities, the barriers in accessing services, and the increased need for support.
We will discuss community members’ experiences of getting support for their mental health, their reflections on how current funding models are working, and what needs to change.
Speaker
Lisette Kaleveld is a social researcher at CSI UWA who has worked on research and evaluation projects conducted in academic/research contexts as well as for the not-for-profit sector, as a public servant and as an independent consultant.
